Sarah Elliston wins best Therapist at The 2015 FMC Dental Hygiene and Therapy Awards
17 March 2015
Congratulations to Sarah Elliston who won best Therapist at The 2015 FMC Dental Hygiene & Therapy Awards.
FMC’s awards schemes have been created to recognise progress, effort and enterprise in general practice dentistry. The winners epitomise practices and teams that are trying to better themselves and ultimately provide a higher calibre of patient experience.
Sarah Elliston graduated as a dental hygienist and therapist in 2013 so to receive this award so soon after leaving Barts and The London, is a great achievement. Sarah works in East London, where she has a long history with her dental practice, having started working there as a dental nurse at the age of 16. She undertook both her Certificate in Oral Health Education, and this led on to her being offered a place to study Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She now works full time in general practice and also works within the local community promoting oral health. She is highly regarded by her patients and it is for these reasons she was successful in her award, which she received at the award ceremony in February 2015.
