Dental Mobile Helping Syrian Refugees
19 April 2016
We have enjoyed having a colleague from Greifswald in Germany work with us for the last 3 months. Dr Mohammed Alkilzy is a paediatric dentist who, working with a German charity set up to help Syrian refugees, runs a project that has taken a mobile dental unit to the Turkish-Syrian border to.
Tens of thousands of Syrian refugees are living in tents just outside Syria’s borders, with little or no access to medical care of any kind. Dental dental care is non-existant.
The charity is united by the will to directly and immediately improve the situation of the people in Syria and the refugee camp. Their highest priority is to provide humanitarian aid to the people suffering from the civil war in Syria and want to help those in need, regardless of their ethnicity or religion.
We are sad to see Mohammed go but would like to support him in his continuing efforts to provide dental care to children and families affected by the Syrian war.
More information is available at http://lien-for-syrians.com/de/blog/cause/zahnmobil/ but as this is in German please feel free to contact Mohammed directly with questions about the project or how to support it: firstname.lastname@example.org or Dominic Hurst email@example.com
