What motivates you about working in the Dental Institute?
I am motivated by the interdisciplinary nature of the Dental Institute and the opportunity to inform my teaching with the latest research. Research really makes a difference to student learning!
How have you progressed since you started?
I have become engaged in both teaching and research. I feel my most important progress has been that several PhD students that I supervise have successfully completed their projects, and the research provided new directions for future work.
What are your goals for your future?
In the nearest future I intend to continue doing research led teaching to solve problems in dental research and to create exciting and useful biomedical and dental materials. I would like to do all that in collaboration with the colleagues around me as well as nationally and internationally.
