MClinDent, MSc, MOrth, Diploma
The Institute of Dentistry provides a thriving and stimulating academic and research environment, offering the following dental taught postgraduate courses leading to degrees awarded by the University of London:
- Master of Clinical Dentistry (M.ClinDent): Prosthodontics, Periodontology, Oral Surgery or Paediatric Dentistry.
- Master of Science (MSc): Orthodontics, Experimental Oral Pathology, Epidemiology and Dental Public Health, Oral Biology, Implant Dentistry or Dental Technology.
- Postgraduate Diploma: Dental Clinical Sciences, Endodontic Practice, or Dental Technology.
All courses emphasise developing appropriate practical and/or clinical skills. Research training is provided through supervised project development leading to the writing of a dissertation. New postgraduate study and research facilities are available in the Centre for Oral Biometrics and the Clinical Sciences Research Centre.
