The dental clinic is on the third floor of the Sir Ludwig Guttmann Centre.
It is an open plan design with state of the art facilities such as digital x-ray machines, modern sterilisation area and sedation facilities.
All the dental chairs have fibre optic handpieces and inbuilt ultrasonic scalers.
During the 3rd and 4th year, students will attend the Sir Ludwig Guttmann Dental Outreach Centre (SLG) on fortnightly rotations for both adult and child patients on separate clinics. In the autumn term of Year 5 studentsl attend the centre for child patients only.
Our dental services
The dental clinic at The Sir Ludwig Guttmann Centre is a partnership between Queen Mary University of London and Barts Health NHS Trust.
The clinic provides the local community with a high quality NHS dental service whilst training the dental team, including student dentists and dental hygienists and therapists.
This service does not include cosmetic procedures such as bleaching and veneers, or treatment with dental implants.

By Underground / Rail:
Stratford is on the Central, Jubilee and London Overground lines. Upon leaving the station you can walk through Westfield Shopping Centre (which is busy at peak times) and leave through the Stratford International exit. With the station on your left cross over International Way onto Celebration Avenue. Continue up the road to Liberty Bridge Road on your right (there is a Sainsbury’s local Shop on the corner). Turn right down Liberty Bridge Road. The Sir Ludwig Guttmann Centre is approximately 100 meters down the road on the left hand side.
By DLR:
Stratford International: Come out of the station to your left and cross over International Way onto Celebration Avenue. There is no free parking at the centre, but a pay car park is available at Westfield Shopping Centre. Roads around the centre are for residents with parking permits only.
By bicycle:
There are bike racks adjacent to the centre.
There is no free parking at the centre, but several ‘pay parks’ are available around Canary Wharf.
